The FIC provides client services to evaluate and determine the proper primary and secondary packaging material for your food product.   

FIC Services include:

  • One-hour packaging system evaluation and consulting
  • Selection and identification of proper packaging materials and containers
  • Packaging testing for sealing integrity
  • Modified Atmospheric Packaging (MAP) for perishable produce and meat products
  • Vacuum packaging , Nitrogen and CO2  gas flushing packaging
  • Headspace gas analysis for packaged food products
  • Transmission rate of packaging films and containers (OTR, WTR, and CO2TR)
