Processing and Packaging Technologies

The FIC conducts research work to improve: product quality, processing efficiencies and capabilities, product tracking and handling.  These technologies include: non-thermal processing, laser technology, and RFID (radio frequency identification). These innovative applications are being developed to benefit the food industry. Individualized custom work can be developed for clients.
